Welcome to the premier issue of LargeCarMag.com. First, let us introduce ourselves. We are Steve and Michele Ford, the owners of LargeCarMag.com and along with the help of my brother, Tim, we will be running this web page. We will also have Kuenn McClinton of The De-Elegant Model Truck Fleet contributing show coverage and features.

In this E-zine, we will be bringing you coverage from as many shows as we can get to. We will bring you features on the BEST trucks in the country. We will also, from time to time, post pics from past shows. The reason I decided to start this site is first and foremost I love trucks and have for as long as I can remember. Secondly, is the huge lack of coverage "working" show trucks get in printed magazines and on various web pages. We want to bring you pictures of the trucks that get very little, if any coverage. I constantly find myself going through show coverage in a printed magazine wishing I could see the all the trucks, including those in the background. On LargeCarMag.com that won't be a problem. We will show you EVERY truck entered at the shows we attend.

In this premier issue, we are showing you photo archives of the trucks two friends of mine own, Justin Lang and Steve Bratton. Also, we are going to show you highlights of our favorite years of the Mid America Truck Show. This issue is intended to give you a preview of the quality photography you can expect. The first few issues will be free so you can get an idea of what the E-zine is like. After that, we will be going to a $10.00 per year subscription rate. This small fee will contribute to keeping this site up and running. In future issues, LargeCarMag.com will constantly be improving. So browse through this issue and get a taste of what we have to offer. Be sure to check back next month to see our first full-length features and show coverage from the Mid America Truck Show 2001, held in Louisville, Kentucky.

I would like to thank my brother Tim for his help. Without him, this site would not have been possible.
