This isn’t your average 25 year old truck. It was built in house by Chad and his family. It took countless hours and dedication to bring a truck like this to life. The 2019, 20th annual Big Iron Classic was held September 6th and 7th in Kasson Minnesota and was stop #2 on my Mid West tour late last summer.
As we look back in trucking history different parts of the country were known for their distinctive types of rigs and their different styles and fads of customization. In the 1970s and 80s the Grand Rapids, Michigan region was home to many great companies whose rigs featured fully muraled tractors and trailers and mild to wild pinstriping and lettering.
