This
months readers ride is owned by Ronnie Brees of Greenfield, Indiana.
Ronnie has been involved in the trucking industry since 1961 and
figures this will be his last truck so he bought exactly what
he wanted. His Imron Red Metallic 2000 Kenworth T800 rides on
a 209" wheelbase. It is powered by a 430 horsepower 3406E
Cat which is routed through a 15 speed fuller transmission.
The dump body is a R&S 17 ft aluminum body installed by TEBCO
in Indianapolis, Indiana. As far as other options on Ronnie's
KW, he says other than heated seats, if Kenworth offers it, he's
got it.
Ronnie
hauls crushed stone, sand, and gravel out of three different plants
owned by Irving Materials, Inc and delivers within a 45 mile radius
of his home. If Ronnie ever gets tired of dump truckin, he ordered
the truck with a tractor package with air and light hookups behind
the cab and at the rear frame cross member.
Ronnie
certainly has a dump truck to be proud of and I would like to
thank him for his contribution to the magazine.
