I
have known Steve & Leslie Bratton for many years and they
are two of the nicest people I have ever met. Steve knows how
to put together a mean looking truck. Just take a look at some
of his previous trucks in the premier issue of LARGECARMAG.COM.
His lastest creation is a 2000 Kenworth W900L. Steve & Leslie's
truck rides on a 310" wheelbase and has a factory 60"
flat top sleeper. Power for the KW comes from a 600 Cummins and
is routed through an 18 speed trans.
The wild paint job was done by Barry Straser and Bill Shoop. Other
things done to the exterior include stainless steps, frame rails
and deck plates done by Jeff Young. The factory headlights were
shaved and replaced with single round headlights. The bowtie visor
was custom made as well as the stainless wraps on the fuel tanks.
Inside
it has wood overhead and floor consoles. Chrome gauge covers and
wood closet door covers with mirrors.
Steve
and Leslie live in Mcveytown, PA and Steve hauls steel from Philadelphia
to Chicago. Steves truck screams attitude form the massive front
bumper to the back of the flamed full fenders. Feel free to browse
through the photos that follow to see some of the modifications
for yourself.
